Known, Seen, and Loved
Luke 12:7
“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
As I sat quietly, reflecting on this verse, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed—in the most beautiful way. The God who created the heavens and the earth is not distant or detached. He is deeply involved. He is mindful.
Not just of the big things.
Not just of our prayers spoken out loud.
But of the smallest, most intricate details of our lives.
He knows the number of hairs on our head.
Think about that for a moment.
That’s not a casual awareness—that is intentional, intimate knowledge. It speaks of a God who pays attention, who cares enough to know even the things we ourselves don’t keep track of.
His Mindfulness Changes Everything
So often, we can feel overlooked or forgotten. Life gets busy, people get distracted, and sometimes even those closest to us may miss what we’re carrying.
But God never does.
There is not a single tear that falls unnoticed.
Not a single burden that goes unseen.
Not a single moment where He is unaware of what you’re walking through.
His mindfulness means:
You are never invisible
You are never insignificant
You are never alone
What a comfort that is to the soul.
A Love That Is Personal
This verse reminds us that God’s love isn’t general—it’s personal.
He doesn’t just love “people.”
He loves you.
He knows your thoughts before you speak them.
He understands your struggles before you explain them.
He sees your heart even when no one else does.
And still—He loves you deeply, fully, and faithfully.
That kind of love brings a holy awe. It humbles us. It softens us. It draws us closer.
Standing in Awe
This morning, like you, I can’t help but just sit in awe of His loving kindness.
To be fully known and fully loved…
To be carefully created and continually cared for…
To be held in the mind of God Himself…
It’s almost too much to take in.
And yet—it’s true.
A Gentle Reminder for Today
As you go about your day, carry this truth with you:
You are seen.
You are known.
You are deeply loved by a God who pays attention to every detail of your life.
Even the ones you think don’t matter.
Especially those.
And maybe today, like this morning, you’ll find yourself pausing… overwhelmed by His goodness, with tears in your eyes—not from sorrow, but from the quiet, powerful realization:
He is mindful of me.
